We are The Spritz, an organization embedded in the heart of Manchester dedicated to the music of this city. From our time in Manchester, we have fallen in love with the music scenes here and all the artists and organisations that are involved. While being here and experiencing it all was a privilege in itself, The Spritz was born from a need to be involved in the scenes that we love.
Here at The Spritz we want to form a brand that can bring together all aspects of the music industry in Manchester. To begin this brand, we are focusing on journalism and providing coverage for all areas of the music industry here, and while we want the core of The Spritz to always be journalism we hope to eventually grow into other practices and areas.
Whichever aspect of music you’re interested in, whatever genre of music you enjoy, The Spritz will provide something for you, we are aiming to be a connecting point between all the scenes and specific areas that Manchester offers. If it’s in the local Manchester scene, we want to be involved.
While our main articles and work focus on Manchester specifically, our blog posts provide a place for the people in Manchester to express their opinions on the wider music industry.
For all our goals to be met we must work with as many artists and organisations as possible, we need to work with the people that know their scenes like the back of their hand.

Whether you are an artist, a session player, a gig photographer, whatever it is you do we want to work with you in some way. Even if you simply enjoy the music that Manchester offers, we want to hear your opinions and to give you a platform.
